Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee County
in Need of Diapers & Baby Items
Bradenton, FL, March 4, 2015—Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee County, Inc., is in need of diapers and wipes. Other baby items needed include new and gently-used clothing for premature babies up to size 4T. These items are distributed to Healthy Start clients in need, primarily pregnant women, mothers and infants up to age three. Healthy Start serves approximately 2,200 mothers and infants annually.
“Caring for a child can be difficult, but it’s even more difficult when you lack the resources needed to provide adequate care,” says Fred Leonard, Executive Director of Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee County. “As any parent can tell you, items such as diapers and wipes are always in high demand.”
Most Needed Items:
- Diapers (Newborn to Size 4)
- Baby Wipes
- New and Gently-Used Clothing (Premature to Size 4T)
