Car crashes are still one of the leading causes of death for children. Child passenger safety should never be overlooked by professionals who work with infants and children. Understanding basic car seat rules, and being able to recognize errors may save a life.
Peggy Klimek, B.A., CPST, Founder of the Manatee Council of Suncoast Safe Kids and Teri Giles, Executive Director of North River Care Pregnancy Center will provide a Crash Course in Child Passenger Safety.
The goal of this presentation is to help others to identify major safety issues with an unsafe or incorrectly installed child restraint and have current information to share with parents or caregivers.
Sponsored by Manatee Memorial Hospital and GSAHEC.
